WESTABY JOINS ABS AS GMS INTERN- DEFOREST, WISCONSIN - June 15,2009 - ABS Global is pleased to announce Kaleena Westaby has been selected to fulfill the Genetic Management System® (GMS®) Internship for the 2009 summer. "We are excited to have Kaleena as a part of the GMS team this summer," stated Jenny Sweatt, GMS Supervisor. "Her cattle evaluation skills, campus involvement and previous experience with ABS will make her a great addition to our team." Westaby completed her junior year at Iowa State University majoring in Dairy Science. She maintains a high level of academics as she has made the Dean's list six consecutive semesters. On Campus, Westaby is currently serving as the Vice President of the Dairy Science Club and is a member of the dairy judging team. Last summer, Westaby completed the Research Internship at ABS where she worked with making trial product and summarizing and reporting field trial results. As the GMS Intern, Westaby will be assisting with processing GMS herds from around the world. She will also assist in creatively designing and developing training and marketing materials for ABS Customers and field Representatives.
