PRODUCTION HAS BEGUN AT ABS DEKORRADEFOREST, WISCONSIN – November 5, 2008 – ABS is pleased to announce it has begun production at its Dekorra facility with the first collection taking place on October 24. The new collection facility ABS Dekorra is globally health qualified and currently houses 60 active and prospective graduate bulls. "Having these facilities, in addition to our DeForest production facility, will aid us in meeting the growing global demand for ABS dairy and beef genetics," stated Scott Bentley, ABS Global Dairy Product Manager. “This further exemplifies the ABS commitment to bringing producers a diverse line-up of readily available sires.” Roger Breunig, ABS Global Livestock and Facility Manager added, “These production facilities will enable us to collect a greater number of sires than ever before and do it in a safe, technologically advanced environment.” ABS Dekorra is a 240-acre property located 15 miles North of ABS Global in DeForest, Wisc. It currently houses nearly 150 sires in the two newly completed barns. In the next four years, a total of four barns will be built to house 350 additional sires.
