ABS PROGENY EXCEL AT 2008 WORLD DAIRY EXPO

DEFOREST, WISCONSIN – November 3, 2008 – The strength of ABS Global and St. Jacobs ABC genetics once again showed through at the 2008 World Dairy Expo held the beginning of October in Madison, Wisc.

“The outstanding show results and number of ABS/STJ sired daughters from the 2008 World Dairy Expo further prove the strength of the ABS and St. Jacobs ABC partnership. ABS progeny took home champion honors in 4 of the seven breed shows held during the week. Specific winners from the show included: Mactalla Marker Molly owned by Matt Mitchell, of Lafollette, TN, a RED MARKER daughter named Reserve Grand Champion of the International Junior Holstein Show; Edgebrook Special K Alamode, Mike & Brenda Dilly & Andy Tow, Montour, IA, a SPECIAL K daughter that garnered Reserve Intermediate Champion in the Central National Ayrshire Show; Brothers Three Worthy Ocs-ET, Topp-View & Brothers Three, Botkins, OH, a JET PILOT daughter that earned Reserve Intermediate Champion honors in the Central National Brown Swiss Show and Kingsway E Red Flying Kite-Red, Stephanie Aves, Poplar Grove, IL and Dyks Kite Linda-Red-ET, Todd Whittier, Sutton, MA, a pair of KITE daughters which won Junior Champion and Reserve Grand Champion awards in the Grand International Red and White Show.

Also, as a result of the outstanding placings of his daughters in the show, ABS Sire Top-Acres JET PILOT-ET was the recipient of the Ted Krueger Premier Sire Banner in the Central National Brown Swiss Show.
