ABS REGIONAL DAUGHTER TOURS HELD DURING JULY AND AUGUSTDEFOREST, WISCONSIN – September 16, 2008 – The ABS Midwest and Eastern Region teams had the opportunity to participate in two daughter tours in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. The tours allowed ABS Employees and Representatives the opportunity to view progeny of up-and-coming ABS dairy sires. “These tours not only allow ABS field staff the chance to see some outstanding daughters, they also allow the Progeny Promotions Team to highlight outstanding ABS customer herds during the visits,” stated U.S. Progeny Promotions Supervisor, Josey Morris. The Midwest tour featured outstanding second crop daughters of 29HO10644 GARRISON, 29HO10681 ALTON, 29HO10493 BURT, 29HO10124 BOLIVER and 29HO12209 SHOTTLE. Other featured sires included recent graduates 29HO11647 MEGA-MAN, 29HO11614 JEEVES and 29HO11655 BREAKOUT. A highlight of the tour were the 29HO11672 OZFEST daughters. OZFEST daughters are impressing customers around the globe with their tremendous strength and power and strong cleft and high, wide rear udder attachments. The Eastern Region tour featured daughters from ABS leading sires including 29HO11254 LACOBRA, 29HO10370 MALIN, 29HO10356 REECE, 29HO9674 DRAMATIC, 29HO9436 FREDERICK and 29HO9899 TOUCHDOWN. Also featured were progeny of future ABS leaders including 29HO11614 JEEVES, 29HO0856 WISCONSIN-RED, 529HO11725 FRAISER and 29HO11713 MIDSTAR. The 29HO11509 MATSON daughters seen on the tour were a favorite of the group because of their outstanding feet and legs, well-attached udders and pleasing type.
