BIRT HONORED AS DISTRICT REPRESENTATIVE OF THE YEARDEFOREST, WISCONSIN – September 8, 2008 – Doug Birt of Genetic Focus Inc. received the District 704 ABS Independent Representative of the Year Award during the 2008 Beef Representative Roundtable Banquet held in Madison, Wisc. “Doug believes it is the responsibility of Genetic Focus, Inc. to spend time with all customers and offer solutions to ensure success,” stated District Sales Manager, Brian Brace. “Through Doug’s work with multi-trait proven genetics and timed synchronized breeding programs, he is helping to add value to his customers’ cattle.” Birt has been providing high quality products and services to farms in Southwest Iowa and Northwest Missouri since he joined the ABS Independent Representative team in 2001. He earned this award based on a formula including sales units, sales revenues and percent increase in sales. This is the fifth time Birt has earned this award.
