VANDENBERG JOINS ABS AS REPRODUCTIVE MANAGEMENT SPECIALISTDEFOREST, WISCONSIN – July 7, 2008 – ABS Canada has named Ian Vandenberg a Reproductive Management Specialist for Ontario. “We look forward to having Ian join our RMS® team as he brings enthusiasm, commitment and a strong knowledge of the dairy industry to his position,” stated Julia James, Ontario District Sales Manager. Vandenberg recently graduated form the University of Guelph with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture. While on campus, he was actively involved in the Dairy Science Club and the Dairy Challenge team. Vandenberg was an active member of 4-H and has competed in both the Scotiabank Hays Classic and Gencor Challenge. He previously worked during the summer for Meadow Lawn Jerseys where he was involved in all aspects of the farming operation. As a Reproductive Management Specialist, Vandenberg will work with ABS Representatives in his area to aid in growth and development of the Reproductive Management System® (RMS) program. He will also provide heat detection and insemination service to area herds.
