SCHRADER JOINS ABS AS RMS® INTERNDEFOREST, WISCONSIN – July 7, 2008 – ABS Global is pleased to announce Julie Schrader as a Reproductive Management Systems® (RMS) Intern for Western Ohio. “Julie is a strong addition to our team with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn and take on new things,” stated District Sales Manager Ray Jackson. “These attributes with contribute to a successful internship position with ABS.” Schrader will be a senior this fall at The Ohio State University majoring in Animal Sciences with a minor in Agricultural Business. On campus, she is active in Buckeye Dairy Club and Saddle and Sirloin. In addition to being active in college activities, Schrader is the Assistant Manager for Schrader Farms. Her responsibilities there include feeding, herd health, heat detection and facility maintenance. Schrader is also responsible for handling and training the show animals on the farm. As a RMS® Intern, Schrader will aid in heat detection and insemination in herds throughout Western Ohio. She will be utilizing the new Cow Signs® Program in many herds to help improve productivity, do performance based breeding, and determine overall cow comfort.
