ABS MIDWEST PROGENY TOUR HELD
DEFOREST, WISCONSIN – August 15, 2007 – On July 10-11, ABS Global Regional Sire Analysts, Representatives, GMS Evaluators and staff traveled across Wisconsin to view several herds on the annual ABS Midwest Progeny Tour. "This year’s tour allowed us to see many outstanding daughters including a consistent line-up of second crop BOLIVER daughters and a few of the first milking SHOTTLE daughters in the Midwest," stated Josey Morris, United States Progeny Promotions Supervisor. "The opportunity to view progeny from ABS sires on different operations helps reinforce the breed-leading, diverse product offering at ABS, and we are thankful to the producers who allowed us to view progeny at their dairies." Todd Kronberg, ABS Midwest Divisional Manager added, “In addition to viewing ABS-sired daughters and bull mothers, this tour gives participants the opportunity to witness the outstanding results and success of the ABS GMS® and ABS Cornerstone™ programs in the Midwest.” Twenty-seven individuals from the Midwest participated in the tour. The tour group saw daughters of ABS Global leading sires including 29HO11111 BOLTON, 29HO10124 BOLIVER and 29HO12209 SHOTTLE. In addition, the tour also showcased progeny of future ABS leaders including 29HO12044 LANGDON, 29HO9470 DETROIT and 29HO11495 KEEGAN.
