WEIER TO INTERN IN SALES AND SERVICE DIVISIONDEFOREST, WISCONSIN – May 29, 2007 - ABS has named Carl Weier an Upper Midwest Sales and Service Intern for the 2007 summer. “Carl’s tremendous experience and strong knowledge of the dairy industry will allow him to be very successful in this internship position,” stated Todd Kronberg, Upper Midwest Divisional Manager. Weier is currently attending the University of Wisconsin-Platteville majoring in Agribusiness. He maintains high academics as he has been named to both the Dean’s List and Chancellor’s List several semesters. On campus, Weier is involved in a variety of organizations and activities including Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity, Pioneer Dairy Club, National Agri-Marketing Association, Alpha Zeta Honors Society and the dairy judging team. He is also an adult dairy leader for his local 4-H club and a member of the Dodgeville FFA Alumni. Weier is the assistant manager on his home farm, Weier-Nook. He is responsible for ration balancing, calf care and sire selection. He also coordinates the milking schedule and performs regular maintenance on all equipment. As a Sales and Service intern, Weier’s responsibilities will include providing sales and service support as well as doing market surveys in the Upper Midwest. In addition, Weier will be actively assisting the Divisional and District Sales Mangers in routine duties throughout the summer. Headquartered
