MOELLER ANNOUNCED AS TECHNICAL SERVICE SPECIALIST
DEFOREST, WISCONSIN – May 29, 2007 – Lydia Moeller will join ABS as the new Technical Services Specialist. “Lydia’s previous experience with ABS as an intern with the Technical Services team coupled with her strong knowledge of the dairy industry makes her a great addition to our team,” stated Dr. Neil Michael, Director of Technical Services. Moeller will graduate from Iowa State University this May with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dairy Science and Animal Science. She has been honored to make the Iowa State University and National Dean’s List several times. Moeller is very active in the Iowa State University Dairy Science Club, Dairy Judging and Dairy Challenge Team. In the Dairy Science Club, Moeller has served as the Historian, Vice President, and co-editor of the annual yearbook. In addition, Moeller was recently named Dairy Science Club Outstanding Senior and C.F. Foreman Leadership Award recipient. Moeller was raised on her family’s dairy farm located in Strawberry Point, Iowa. Her responsibilities on the farm included milking, maintaining barn and heifer pens, and feeding calves and heifers. Last summer, Moeller was the Technical Services and Sales Intern at ABS. As the Technical Service Intern, Moeller wrote articles for the Technical Services Newsletter and worked with product and service support projects. As the Technical Services Specialist, Moeller will be responsible for coordinating RMS® training sessions, performing administrative tasks and providing product and sales support. She will also assist with collecting progesterone samples and writing articles for the Technical Services Newsletter and Breeder’s Journal. Headquartered
