ABS WELCOMES MCCARREY AS HUMAN RELATIONS & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
DEFOREST, WISCONSIN – May 29, 2007 – Sandi Baylor-Schmidt, Global Director of HR&D for ABS Global is pleased to announce that Shane McCarrey has been promoted to Manager, North American HR&D, for ABS Global, Inc. McCarrey was raised on a farm and brings with him a diverse business background including experience in financial banking, commercial sales and employee training. In this new role Shane has taken on the responsibility for the day to day management and operation of the Human Relations & Development Department which is responsible for providing employment related services and training for 400 employees and training for close to 500 independent Representatives within the U.S. and Canadian ABS businesses. Additionally he will oversee his Australian replacement. “I’m always excited when we are able to grow and develop our employees within the organization and I’m truly grateful of Shane’s arrival to help with our growing US & Canadian businesses” stated Sandra Baylor-Schmidt, Director of Human Resources, Legal Affairs and Training for ABS Global and PIC, Inc. “Our people are our greatest asset and I’m proud that as a company we are willing to add resources that will help the growth and development of the business and people. Shane comes to this position with an extensive background in human resources and his previous experience with ABS along with these skills will help him to develop our North American team,” Baylor-Schmidt added.
