ABS RELEASES SEVEN NEW SIRES


DEFOREST, WISCONSIN - November 14, 2006 - ABS Global added seven new sires to its active line-up with the release of the November 2006 sire summary data on Monday, November 13. The graduates include five exceptional Holsteins, one exciting Jersey and an outstanding Brown Swiss.

"These seven new dairy sires will complement our strong active line-up with their outstanding type, production and health and management traits," stated Scott Bentley, Global Dairy Product Manager. “They will provide dairy producers around the world with a wide array of profitable breeding options.”

29HO11138 Cook-Farm DETECTIVE-ET*TL*TV is a DEBUT son that hails from the world-famous Elevation Fayvor EX-95 family and is backed by six generations of excellent cows. DETECTIVE daughters are tall, dairy open cows that stand on excellent feet and legs. Udders are well above the hock with an exceptionally high, wide rear udder attachment.

29HO11214 Sollien GRANDVIEW-ET*TL*TV offers a combination of two great pedigrees, as he is a Durham son from the Sollien B-Star Hero Greta EX-94-2E family. GRANDVIEW is a high type sire (+2.11), and his daughters are tall and strong with great style and balance throughout. He also is an excellent source for milk yield and is +1114 PTAM.

The BW Marshall son 29HO10999 Far-O-La Bwmar Da MONONA*TL*TV hails from a famous cow family as his 3rd dam is the world renown Snow-N Denises Dellia EX-95. MONONA exhibits many of the traits of his famous cousin 29HO8538 Regancrest Rbk DIE-HARD-ET including superior health and management traits and outstanding feet and legs. MONONA can be used in heifer pens as he has a low calving ease score (6%).

A highlight of the ABS new graduates is 29HO11073 Zimmerview Granger SETON-ET*TL*TV. SETON sires balanced, dairy cows with outstanding udders that are well attached, carried high above the hock and have a deep crease. He is a maternal brother to ABS active sire, 29HO10930 Zimmerview Debut STATUE. With a low Somatic Cell Score, favorable Daughter Pregnancy Rate and high Productive Life, SETON is an ideal bull to use in commercial managed operations and can also be used in heifer pens.

29HO11094 Roselund-View BWM STRATUS*TL*TV transmits balanced production and type provided by his unique sire stack of BW Marshall x Rudolph. With +2.74 Udder Composite, STRATUS sires outstanding young cows that have excellent udder attachments, a deep seam and great teat placement. He also excels in health and management traits with his +2.67 on Somatic Cell Score and +2.60 Productive Life.

ABS’s new Jersey release is 29JE3327 Gabys Paramount ABRAM-ET. ABRAM is a Paramount son that will sire daughters with high, wide rear udders that produce high volumes of milk. He is the number seven JPI sire (+222), and is a maternal brother to 29JE3307 Gabbys Hallmark SHOWTIME.

The final ABS new release for the November sire summary is 29BS3776 Top Acres BLUE CHIP-ET. BLUE CHIP is currently the number one Brown Swiss PTAT sire (+1.00). He is a BANKER son out of the well-known Top Acres Pre Bouquet-ET-EX-94-2E, who was named Reserve Grand Champion at World Dairy Expo in 2004.
