ABS HOSTS UDDER HEALTH TRAINING SESSION

DEFOREST, WISCONSIN - August 31, 2006 – ABS Global Technical Services continues to reinforce customer service with applicable science by hosting udder health training sessions. The most recent session took place August 22-23 in Hudson, Wisconsin.

“ABS Technical Services strives to continually educate our field staff and Representatives and improve our service offerings through training sessions,” stated Neil Michael, Director of Technical Services. “The knowledge individuals gain from the session will be returned to benefit the customers through the new skills they acquire and add to their ABS uddercare portfolio.”

Twenty-six individuals from across the United States attended this training session, which was designed to help participants increase the amount of udder care service options they offer to dairy producers. The session focused on ABS udder care products, udder health records analysis, troubleshooting milk quality issues and providing udder health solutions to customers. Speakers included, Joe Morelli, Senior Scientist at Ecolab, Dr. Gene Monfore, ABS Global, Inc. and Dr. Roger Thomson of Team Management Concepts, PLC.

The group also had the opportunity to visit two large dairies in northeastern Wisconsin to conduct a herd udder health evaluation including milking procedures, teat condition scoring and overall udder health management.
