ABS GLOBAL SELECTS INTERNS FOR 2006
DEFOREST, WISCONSIN – June 20, 2006 – ABS Global is pleased to have the following individuals as interns for the 2006 summer. The ten interns will be completing a 12-week summer internship in their respective areas that began earlier this month. - Stephen Mast (California Polytechnic State University) - West Coast Progeny Promotions - tracks and prepares ABS Global progeny for picturing and arranges daughter tours. - Lea McCullough (University of Wisconsin-Madison) - Progeny Promotions - tracks and prepares ABS Global progeny for picturing and arranges daughter tours. - Jackie Ploetz (Cornell University) - Genetic Management System® (GMS?) - process GMS herds and input data while working with field evaluators and working on the GMS video. - Sarah Galdi (University of Wisconsin-Madison) - Communications - proofing and writing articles and press releases along with developing the 2007 Dairy and Beef Calendars. - Brendan Fitzgerald (University of Vermont) - Reproductive Management System® (RMS®) Division 3 (Vermont)- act as relief technician and implement RMS. - Gary McCarthy (University of Wisconsin-Platteville) - RMS Division 4 (Upper Midwest) -provide sales and service support and conducts market surveys. - Jordan Sell (University of Wisconsin-River Falls) - RMS Division 4 (Upper Midwest) - provide sales and service support and conducts market surveys. - Melissa Auck (University of Wisconsin-Platteville) - RMS Division 4 (Upper Midwest) - provide sales and service support and conducts market surveys. - Charles Peterson (University of Minnesota-Twin Cities) - RMS Division 4 (Upper Midwest)- provide sales and service support and conducts market surveys. - Lydia Moeller (Iowa State University) - RMS Division 4 and Technical Services - conduct market surveys and assist with technical service product and service support projects.
