ABS ANNOUNCES HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS
DEFOREST, WISCONSIN - June 13, 2006 – ABS Global recently awarded Lindsey Langer and Gina Larson scholarships as part of the 2006 DeForest High School Senior Awards Night. Lindsey Langer, the daughter of Randy and Susan Langer, is the recipient of the $1,000 ABS Global Agriculture Scholarship. While in high school, Lindsey has been active in many organizations and activities. She is a member of the National Honor Society, DeForest High School FFA and a high honor roll student. Langer also participates in soccer, music and cheerleading. She plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-Platteville this fall pursuing a degree in Animal Science. Gina Larson, the daughter of Dennis and Diane Larson, has been awarded the $500 ABS Global Business Scholarship. Larson is a member of DECA, the soccer team and is an honor roll student. She also volunteers for Habitat for Humanity. Gina will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater this fall majoring in Marketing Management. The ABS Global scholarship recipients were selected based on their future career goals.
