JAMES NAMED RMS® INTERN

DEFOREST, WISCONSIN - June 13, 2006 - ABS Canada has selected Julia James as a Reproductive Management Systems® (RMS) Intern for the 2006 summer.

“Julia’s passion and work within the livestock industry makes her a perfect fit for the RMS summer internship,” stated Peter Draper, Canada Product Manager.

James recently graduated from the University of Guelph earning a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. While on campus, she was actively involved in the Ontario Agriculture Colleges (OAC) serving as the 2006 class Vice President. James was also a member of the dairy challenge team which placed 1st at the 2006 North American Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge.

James has worked at Maple Leaf Foods in Agresearch for the past five years. Her duties include collecting and processing nutritional information of poultry, swine, and dairy and general farm labor at the research dairy barn.

As an ABS Canada RMS Intern, James will be responsible for performing reproductive program management duties including insemination, synchronization, record keeping and general dairy management. In addition, she will offer ABS products and services to ABS Canada customers.
