RIPPE JOINS ABS TECHNICAL SERVICE TEAMDEFOREST, WISCONSIN - May 19, 2006 – ABS is proud to announce Christian Rippe has joined the ABS Technical Service Team filling the role of Technical Service Support position. “Christian’s extensive research and experience in the dairy industry will make him an asset to the Technical Service Team,” stated Dr. Neil Michael, Director of ABS Global Technical Services. Rippe grew up in Bogotà, Colombia where he earned his D.V.M from the Universidad de La Salle in 1988. He went on to obtain his degree in University Teaching from the Universidad Antonio Narino in 2000. Rippe has an extensive amount of both practical on-farm and university teaching experience. He has worked on several dairy and beef operations specializing in areas including reproduction, internal medicine, surgery, and farm management. Rippe has also taught courses, focusing on nutrition and reproduction, at three different universities located in Colombia. In his role as Technical Field Support, Rippe will be responsible for providing ABS product service support, and RMS. He will also coordinate producer meetings, A.I. training and workshops for ABS employees, key customers and Representatives.
