LAMB JOINS ABS GLOBAL AS REPRODUCTIVE CONSULTANTDEFOREST, WISCONSIN - April 11, 2006 – ABS Global is pleased to announce Dr. Cliff Lamb will be serving as a Reproductive Consultant. “Cliff brings a great amount of experience and knowledge within the scientific arena of synchronization research and application of these technologies into the nations beef herds,” stated Dwight Williams, ABS Divisional Manager. Currently, Dr. Lamb is an Associate Professor at the University of Minnesota, where he focuses on reproductive management of beef cattle and serves as the coordinator of the University of Minnesota –North Central Research and Outreach Center (NCROC) Reproduction Biotechnology Center. Lamb received his M.S. and Ph.D. from Kansas State University and completed his undergraduate studies at Middle Tennessee State University. Dr. Lamb has focused much of his research efforts in the development of fixed-time artificial insemination (A.I.) and embryo transfer protocols with the use of the CIDR, MGA, GnRH, and PGF. Among his current projects, his primary focus is on the development of an economical, efficient fixed-time AI estrous synchronization protocol for beef heifers. “Cliff’s work and credibility within the A.I. industry makes him a natural fit to work with our Beef Enterprise Team as we continue to implement our Beef Reproductive Management Services,” stated Neil Michael, ABS Director of Technical Services. “We know that Cliff will be an important asset to the ABS Team and our valued customer base.” As a Reproductive Consultant at ABS, Lamb will provide consulting and technical services in the area of beef reproductive management. He will assist in conducting training sessions for Independent Sales Representatives, management, and VIP’s while contributing to various ABS publications on reproductive management topics.
