HERBST ANNOUNCED AS AREA SALES MANAGERDEFOREST, WISCONSIN - March 31, 2006 - ABS Global is proud to announce Jared Herbst has been named the Area Sales Manager for Central Texas. “Jared brings a great combination of education and work experience to this position,” said King Smith, District Sales Manager. “His enthusiasm and passion for agriculture along with his skills will be a great addition to the ABS sales team.” Herbst joins ABS with an extensive background in Animal Science and Spanish. He attended BYU-Idaho for two years majoring in Animal Science and attended Idaho State University for two years majoring in Spanish. While attending college, he built his knowledge of the agriculture industry through holding various job positions including a veterinarian assistant and dairy herd assistant manager. As an Area Sales Manager, Herbst will be responsible for the direct sales of semen and A.I. services to dairy customers in his area. He will also help the producers in his area make their genetic decisions and assist them with their timed breeding programs.
