FITZSIMMONS NAMED AREA SALES MANAGER AT ABS GLOBAL
DEFOREST, WISCONSIN - January 26, 2006 - ABS Global is pleased to announce that Robert Fitzsimmons has been named Area Sales Manager in Vermont. "Bob brings a vast amount of knowledge within the agricultural industry to this role of Area Sales Manager," stated Todd Kranz, ABS Divisional Manager. "This knowledge coupled with his years of sales experience in the A.I. industry, make him a valuable asset to ABS and the Division 3 Team." Fitzsimmons is a globally known dairy cattle enthusiast and judge. He currently serves as General Manager of Carrousel Farms, in Orangeville, Ill. In this role he has developed numerous All-American nominations, has exhibited the Grand Champion Holstein in the International Holstein Show and the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, and most recently, has exhibited the Intermediate Champion of the Central National Jersey Show at the 2005 World Dairy Expo. He has judged cattle worldwide and some of his assignments have included judging the International Holstein Show, Central National Jersey Show and International Red & White Holstein Show at World Dairy Expo, and the Holstein Show at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto, Canada. Additionally, he has served as Judge for several national Holstein, Brown Swiss and Jersey shows in the U.S., including the All-American Jersey Show held in Louisville, Kent. He has also judged internationally in England, Brazil, Japan, Chile, Mexico, Germany, Netherlands, Ireland, Australia and Argentina. In 2006, he will be serving as the judge for the International Red and White Holstein Show held in October. No stranger to the A.I. industry Fitzsimmons has had sales roles for several A.I. companies. In his role as ABS Area Sales Manager, he will utilize his outstanding sales experience to further develop the ABS business in Vermont through direct sales. Fitzsimmons along with his wife, Patricia, and three children reside in East Montpelier, Vermont.
