ABS GLOBAL NAMES SHEEHAN AS NEW PROGENY PROMOTIONS SPECIALIST
DEFOREST, WISCONSIN - November 3, 2005 - ABS Global is pleased to welcome the newest member of the Progeny Promotions team, Andrew Sheehan. "We are extremely excited to have Andy as a part of the Progeny Promotions Department," stated Davy Dunlop, North American Progeny Promotions Manager. "He brings the perfect combination of dairy knowledge and judging skills that fit our program." Sheehan's family farm is Sheeknoll Farms in Rochester, Minn. He recently graduated from the University of Minnesota – St. Paul with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with an emphasis in Dairy Science. Being a 2004 Distinguished Junior Holstein Finalist and successful dairy judge will help Sheehan in his role of Progeny Promotions Specialist. His responsibilities include on-farm daughter evaluation, coordinating and assisting with picturing of ABS-sired progeny along with arranging and conducting ABS daughter and herd tours throughout the Midwest and eastern U.S. Sheehan will join the ABS team November 1 and will be based out of the DeForest, Wisc.
