ABS HONORS SANBULTE AS DISTRICT SALES MANAGER OF THE YEAR
DEFOREST, WISCONSIN - October 31, 2005 -ABS District Sales Manager Merlyn Sandbulte of Rock Valley, Iowa received the District Manager of the Year Award at the 2005 Beef Division Round Table held in DeForest, Wisc. "Merlyn works with a large number of professional ABS Reps to accomplish the high performance he is being recognized for. The geography Merlyn is responsible for includes all or part of a six state area of Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wyoming and Montana," states Beef Division Manager, Dwight Williams. Sandbulte has been with ABS as a District Sales Manager for 12 years and as an Independent Sales Representative for eight years. Sandbulte supports and coaches his sales Representatives on all of ABS' core product lines; beef and dairy semen, along with mastitis prevention products. Sandbulte has been a strong advocate for enhancing reproductive performance in both beef and dairy herds. He does this by providing customer and representative educational workshops that focus on the use of current technologies to implement such techniques as timed AI breeding and “total herd submission” protocols. Williams adds, "Merlyn is always striving for implementation of current technologies to produce optimum pregnancy production in a herd and to do it in a cost effective manner." Williams continued, "Merlyn earned this award for his sales distric's performance in specific objective criteria but it is his passion for the business and this industry that drives him to cover such a large area and to surround himself with competent, professional ABS Representatives that provide the daily services that our clients desire." The District Sales Manager of the Year Award, is based on a formula including sales units, sales revenue and percent increase in sales, and was presented to Sandbulte at a banquet held in conjunction with the 2005 Division 2 Representative Round Table.
