TWO NEW BULLS REACH ROCK SOLID STATUS AT ABS

DEFOREST, WISCONSIN -August 12, 2005 - ABS Global is excited to announce that both 29HO10483 Ridge-Star JAMMER-ET and 94HO0848 Carrousel DISTRIGENE-RED-ET have achieved Rock Solid Genetics® (RSG®) status.

"These two sires are tremendous RSG additions," said Scott Bentley, Dairy Product Manager. "They join 60 active RSG dairy sires at ABS that offer reliable, stable, and profitable genetics to global dairy producers."

The Rock Solid Genetics (RSG) brand was established in 1998. RSG bulls must have at least 100 milking daughters in 60 herds or more. This allows the bulls to have a reliability of at least 85%, giving dairy producers higher confidence in the breeding program. When the bull is used in more herds and sires more daughters, the higher reliability and more accurate data can be collected. “With RSG, our customers can be assured that they are investing in genetics that will withstand the test of time,” stated Dennis Funk, ABS Director of Research and Development.

JAMMER transmits tremendous udder improvement and is outstanding for Udder Composite. JAMMER also sires cows that last within the herd with a +1.7 Productive Life. DISTRIGENE-RED, a recent graduate, sires stylish and balanced daughters with extreme stature, width and overall strength throughout.
