JUSTY PASSES THE TORCH TO JAMMER

DEFOREST, WISCONSIN -August 3, 2005 – ABS Global is saddened by the recent death of its oldest bull, 29H7732 Ridge-Star JUSTY-ET. He spent his entire career housed by ABS Canada.

"JUSTY was a long time Diamond Sire and global customer favorite with over 10,000 daughters in 2,500 herds," stated Scott Bentley, ABS Global Dairy Product Manager. "He continues to be in high demand in Australia, Europe and South America and will easily go down in history as the world’s finest Mascot son."

A son of highly regarded brood cow Ridge-Star Leadman Julie, JUSTY’s cow family has been best known for transmitting sound udders, feet and legs, low Somatic Cell Scores, and favorable Calving Ease. ABS has invested heavily in the family to ensure ABS customers benefit from the profit focused traits of the family. The next family member, an outcross nephew of JUSTY and a new Global Leader for ABS is 29HO10483 Ridge-Star JAMMER-ET. JAMMER has been extremely popular since his release in February of 2005 with his tremendous milk yield, high components, and outstanding udders. A JAMMER daughter will be the cover girl on the ABS August Profit Power.
