REYES NAMED ABS WEST COAST DISTRICT 103 and 105 SUMMER INTERNDEFOREST, WISCONSIN -July 19, 2005 – ABS Global is pleased to have Bill Reyes as the West Coast District 103 and 105 summer intern. "Bill has the drive and motivation to be very successful as our intern," Tony Timmons, ABS Global District 3 Manager explained. "His past experience with ABS will allow him to learn even more in his position this summer." Reyes, a student at South Dakota State University, is currently majoring in Dairy Production. While at South Dakota State, Reyes has participated on the South Dakota State Dairy Judging team and is a member of South Dakota chapter of Alpha Gamma Rho. He has also been an active member of the Dairy Club and is the secretary of the Greek Council. Reyes also attended Modesto Junior College where he was a Dairy Judging team member, active in the Dairy Club and Young Farmers. Reyes has very valuable past internship and work experiences that has prepared him for his internship. Last summer, Reyes was a West Coast district intern for ABS Global. In this position he relief bred and organized daughter tours and Sire Evaluation for Type programs. Reyes has also been the Assistant Herdsman for Wyeth Family Holsteins dairy farm where he was responsible for breeding, milking and working with farm equipment. In this summer internship, Reyes will continue many of his duties from last summer as well as working with the Progeny Test program. Reyes will again set-up and host daughter tours, organize Sire Evaluation for Type programs and ensure that all information on young sires within Progeny Testing is correctly recorded.
