ABS GLOBAL NAMES NOVINSKIE AS NEW GMS PROCESSING SPECIALISTDEFOREST, WISCONSIN -July 14, 2005 – ABS Global is pleased to welcome the newest member of the Genetic Management System (GMS) team, Emily Novinskie. "We are extremely excited to have Emily as a part of the GMS department," stated Amy Knuth, ABS Global GMS Manager. "She brings a great combination of dairy knowledge and organizational skills that fit our program." Novinskie grew up on a 50 cow dairy farm in Lancaster, Wisconsin. Novinskie graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with a Bachelor Degree in Agribusiness and Animal Science, with a focus on dairy. While in school, she was the Wisconsin Holstein Association Communication intern where she prepared press releases and interviewed producers. Recently Novinskie has spent a large amount of her time preparing and training dairy cattle at the local, state and national levels and working at the Grant Regional Health Center in Admissions. As the GMS Processing Specialist, Novinskie will be responsible for processing GMS matings in a timely and efficient manner for the over 2 million animals processed each year. Additionally, Novinskie will manage matings of all the incoming herds and provide support and trouble-shooting evaluations to Representatives and customers. Finally, Novinskie will also participate in teaching GMS workshops in order to maintain the promotion of the GMS program. Novinskie began July 5 and will be based out of DeForest. As a RMS intern, Miller will act as a Relief RMS Technician and implement the dairy Reproductive Management System. Other duties will include customer training, working at trade shows and helping with daughter photography.
