MCCULLOUGH TO INTERN IN ABS SALES AND SERVICE DIVISIONDEFOREST, WISCONSIN -July 12, 2005 – ABS Global Upper Midwest Sales and Service Division is excited to announce Lea McCullough as a summer intern. Todd Kronberg, ABS Upper Midwest Division Manager, states “Lea’s background and knowledge combined with her dedication and enthusiasm for the dairy industry will make her an extremely valuable asset of the Sales and Service team.” McCullough attends the University of Wisconsin-Madison and majors in both Dairy Science and Life Sciences Communications. As a rising junior, McCullough is extremely active on campus. She is a member of the Dairy Judging team, Association for Women in Agriculture as well as Collegiate FFA and the Badger Dairy Club. In the Badger Dairy Club, McCullough was the Badger Invitational Cattle Care Co-Chairperson and the Wisconsin 4-H/FFA Dairy Quiz Bowl Co-Chairman. In addition, last year McCullough was named the Badger Dairy Club Outstanding Freshman. Beyond campus, McCullough is busy with various other Holstein dairy activities. She was a member of the National Champion Senior Dairy Bowl team and her county association President. McCullough was also named a National Holstein Distinguished Junior Member in 2004. Furthermore, McCullough has worked in many different aspects of the dairy industry. McCullough has worked at Rock-N-Hill Holstein Farm, Crescentmead Farm and Spring Grove Dairy in addition to working at the Monroe Veterinary Service. Her responsibilities have extended from milking, washing and leading animals for the show and vaccinating heifers and cows. As a Sales and Service intern, McCullough’s responsibilities will include conducting market surveys, providing sales and service support and assisting divisional and district sales managers.
