MAST NAMED WEST COAST PROGENY PROMOTIONS INTERNDEFOREST, WISCONSIN -July 12, 2005 – ABS Global has named Rebekah Mast the West Coast Progeny Promotions Intern. "Rebekah has a strong background in the dairy industry that has provided her with the experience she needs to be extremely successful as the Progeny Promotions intern," stated Marci Walker, ABS Global's Global Progeny Development Manager. "She will serve as an excellent addition to the Progeny Promotions team." Mast is a senior at the California Polytechnic State University and is majoring in Dairy Science while pursuing a minor in Agriculture Business. Mast has also already obtained an Associate Degree in Dairy Science from Modesto Junior College. Among her activities at both universities, Mast has been a member of both the Cal Poly and Modesto Junior College Dairy Judging teams. Mast has achieved many high honors as a member of both teams including being named the high individual at the Accelerated Genetics Judging contest and second high individual at World Dairy Expo in 2004. Also, Mast was third high individual at World Dairy Expo in the Junior College competition. Mast has also been involved as a Dairy Club member, Young Farmers member and in Campus Crusade for Christ. Additionally, Mast has been active in many different aspects of the dairy industry. Mast is a Manager in Training for Dirk-C Holsteins where she maintains the records and facilities while administering various treatments to the herd. Mast has also been the Secretary and Writer at Papermoon Designs where she has written articles for the California Holstein News and a Technician Assistant with Taylor Veterinary Hospital.
