LAWFER JOINS ABS AS SALES AND SERVICE SUMMER INTERNDEFOREST, WISCONSIN -July 12, 2005 – ABS Global is pleased to have Benjamin Lawfer as a summer intern for the Upper Midwest Sales and Service Division. "Ben's strong dairy background and enthusiasm towards the industry will prove to be extremely beneficial to ABS Global throughout the summer," stated Todd Kronberg, ABS Global Upper Midwest Division Manager. A senior at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, Lawfer is majoring in Animal Science with a dairy emphasis and is obtaining a minor in Agriculture Business. Lawfer is extremely active on campus where he has held the positions of chaplain, noble ruler and Inter-Fraternity Council Representative for Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity. In addition, the Pioneer Dairy Club, Pioneer National Agricultural Marketing Association and the Agricultural Business Club have allowed Lawfer to explore many different aspects of the industry and learn extremely valuable skills for the future. Lawfer has also been active in the dairy industry through previous work experiences at Willow Valley Farm and Hardwood Holsteins where he was the primary feeder and milked and bred animals in the herd. As a Sales and Service intern, Lawfer’s responsibilities will include providing sales and service support as well as doing market surveys in the Upper Midwest. In addition, Lawfer will be active assisting the divisional and district sales mangers in routine duties throughout the summer.
