ABS SALES AND SERVICE ANNOUNCES AMUNDSON AS SUMMER INTERNDEFOREST, WISCONSIN -July 12, 2005 –ABS Global is excited to announce that Mitchell Amundson will be an Upper Midwest Sales and Service summer intern. "We are anxious to have Mitchell as a Sales and Service intern," said Todd Kronberg, ABS Upper Midwest Division Manger. "His extensive experience in the dairy industry will allow him to be very successful in this internship position." Amundson, a junior, majoring in Dairy Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has been surrounded by the dairy industry throughout his life. Raised on a registered Holstein farm in Wisconsin, Amundson has been extremely active in the farm operation as well as the Wisconsin Junior Holstein Association. Amundson has enjoyed exhibiting his cattle at local, state and national levels of competition . In addition, Amundson was the 2004 Wisconsin Outstanding Holstein Boy and named a National Holstein Distinguished Junior Member Semi-Finalist for 2005. While attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Amundson has participated on the Dairy Cattle judging team and was fifth high individual at the Accelerated Genetics Dairy Judging contest. Furthermore, he is the Inter-Fraternity Council Representative for Alpha Gamma Rho and an active member of the Badger Dairy Club. As a Sales and Service intern, Amundson’s responsibilities will include providing sales and service support and performing market surveys in the Upper Midwest. In addition, Amundson will be assisting the divisional and district sales managers in routine duties throughout the summer.
