SNAKE RIVER ROUNDUP TRAINING HELD IN IDAHO

DEFOREST, WISCONSIN -July 5, 2005 - ABS Global held a week long training program entitled, Snake River Roundup, for new Employees, Interns and Representatives in Twin Falls, Idaho June 12-18.

"This training program served as a sound stepping stone for new sales & service associates to learn more about ABS Global and the role the company plays in A.I. industry, " stated ABS Global Eastern U.S. Division Manager, Todd Kranz. "The knowledge these individuals gained through this training will enable them to become an integral part of the ABS Global team and also assist their dairy producer customers in achieving their goals."

Throughout the week long training, participants spent a significant amount of time working at various herds in Idaho to learn and practice A.I. techniques with the guidance of Dr. David Prentice, ABS Technical Service Consultant. Once these skills were firmly established with all members of the group, Dr. Hernado Lopez, ABS Technical Service Consultant, presented valuable information about heat detection and reproductive physiology. Dr. Lopez further discussed synchronization systems along with reviewing PC Dart and Dairy Comp 305 dairy record methods.

The new members of ABS Global also learned about effective udder health care as well as mastitis management with the help of ABS Technical Service Specialist, Kylene Anderson. Following Anderson, Scott Bentley, ABS Global Dairy Product Manager, helped the trainees to become more familiar with ABS Global’s Genetic Management System® (GMS®), Cornerstone™ Progeny Test Program and sire acquisition as well as dairy product management and proposals.
