ABS SPRING PROGENY PROMOTIONS TOUR SUCCESS

DEFOREST, WISCONSIN - May 9, 2005 - ABS Global held a Progeny Promotions Daughter Tour in the Central Valley of California on April 26th-28th 2005.

This successful event was attended by almost 50 International and Domestic ABS Sales Personnel representing 10 countries from around the world. It offered an ambitious schedule filled with daughters of key first and second crop bulls.

Second crop Diamond sires on the tour included 29HO9568 REVENUE, 29HO9023 ROY and 29HO9154 GORDON.

The second crop bull that stood out above the rest with their black silky hides and large stylish frames was ROY! Steve Riesenbeck, Herd Manager of Wagner Dairy in Escalon, CA said, "We have freshened in 28 ROY daughters and haven’t culled one yet." ROY daughters are also proving to have show ring style as cows and heifers are placing well in major shows around the world. He is a Global Legacy.

Several new February graduates were also featured on the tour: 29HO10440 DYSON, 29HO10572 MERCHANT, 29HO10493 BURT, 29HO10483 JAMMER, 29HO10644 GARRISON, 29HO10340 BRAD and 29HO10615 CUMULUS.

It is only fitting that a California bred bull was one of the stars on the spring daughter tour. CUMULUS combines CONVINCER’s length and style with the width and substance of LANTZ; thus giving them a very nice overall balance to their frames. Udders are his highlight….silky shallow udders with snug attachments and close teat placement topped off with a deep udder cleft. Additionally the daughters have a nice slope to the rump.
