THE FOUNDATION OF ABS DAIRY GENETICS – "CORNERSTONE"

DEFOREST, WISCONSIN - May 5, 2005 - ABS Global’s long time successful Progeny Test Program has a new name and a new look. Starting with the May Bull Book, producers and ABS Representatives will begin to see the name, "Cornerstone".

Program Manager Ryan Starkenburg said, "Cornerstone is a logical fit into our portfolio of Rock Solid® Genetics and Diamond Sires. As the name implies, Cornerstone is the anchor of a strong foundation, clearly defining the importance of Progeny Test in developing the credibility of ABS Rock Solid Genetics."

ABS has provided producers with the benefits of the Progeny Test Program since 1963. In addition to the opportunity of using future genetic leaders first, participants receive credits for calving ease data, production information and photo assistance plus classification benefits.

ABS Global, Inc. received the following certificate: Outstanding Achievement Certificate for Excellence in Safety .

To establish a reliable foundation for future Rock Solid sires, ABS is partnering with Cornerstone herds to collect large volumes of accurate data while enhancing herd profitability.
