FREEMAN JOINS ABS AS BEEF TECHNICAL SPECIALIST

DEFOREST, WISCONSIN -April 19, 2005 - ABS Global is pleased to announce that Bobby Freeman has joined the Beef Sales Team as a Beef Technical Specialist.

"Bobby's strong knowledge of the beef industry and extensive background with the Kentucky and Georgia Cattleman's Associations make him a great fit for this position," said Roger Wann, ABS District Sales Manager. "This experience combined with his management skills, make him an asset to the ABS Beef Enterprise Team."

Freeman was born and raised in Alabama on a small poultry and cattle farm. He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science from Auburn University. He later earned his Masters Degree from Morehead State University in Kentucky. He has extensive experience in the beef industry, where his jobs have ranged from managing an Angus herd to working in state Extension Service to serving as Executive Vice President of two state Cattlemen’s Associations.

Freeman served as Executive Vice President of both the Kentucky Cattlemen's Association and the Georgia Cattlemen's Association. During his time with the Kentucky Cattlemen’s Association, he was appointed to the Governor's Agriculture Taskforce and served on the National Cattlemen's Association Executive Officers Steering Committee.

In his new role as Beef Technical Specialist, Freeman will be working with ABS Professional Representatives and other field staff to maintain and further develop the ABS beef business in Georgia, Alabama and Florida. His new position will include Representative training and management as well as direct producer interaction including commercial cattle marketing, product sales and service. He will also represent ABS at various functions like producer meetings, trade shows and other industry events. Freeman, and his wife Marilyn will continue to reside in Macon, Georgia.
