ABBOTT NAMED GENERAL MANAGER OF ST. JACOBS ABC

DEFOREST, WISCONSIN -April 18, 2005 - ABS Global and St. Jacobs ABC are pleased to announce that Tim Abbott has been named General Manager of St. Jacobs ABC, Elmira, Ontario, Canada.

"Tim's extensive experience in the A.I. industry along with his optimistic attitude make him a perfect fit as General Manager for St. Jacobs ABC," says Warren Trask, Chairman of the St. Jacobs Recruitment Committee. Abbott has served as a Regional Sire Analyst for ABS since 1992. During this time he has worked with many influential dairy producers and sourced outstanding bulls, two of which include Global Leader 29H8343 Wa-Del CONVINCER EX-95 and 29HO9558 Windsor-Manor MACHOMAN. He has also judged many shows and has served on the sales force for many prestigious sales across North America.

In his new role, Abbott will focus on further developing the St. Jacobs ABC sire program which includes the Judge's Choice™ Program, a new Red and White program as well as the regular Progeny Test Program. Other areas of focus will be working with the ABS Product Management Department to further expose and market St. Jacobs ABC sires to ABS Global customers, Distributors and subsidiaries. In addition to his new role, he will continue with his sire acquisition responsibilities for ABS Global, covering New England, Maryland, Virginia, and the Southeast portions of Pennsylvania. Abbott and his wife, Sharyn and their two children, Chelsea and Caitlyn will continue to reside in Fairfield, Vermont.
