DIE-HARD: THE CROWN JEWEL OF THE ABS DIAMOND SIRES
DEFOREST,
WISCONSIN - February 17, 2005 – 29H8538 Regancrest Rbk DIE-HARD-ET*TV
VG-86 was one of the first ABS Diamond Sires when the program
was introduced in 2003, having over 1,000 daughters in his proof.
His global popularity has continually increased and today, DIE-HARD
has close to 14,000 daughters and a +1577 TPI, which has earned
him a spot again on the Holstein Association USA Top 100 TPI list.
"DIE-HARD
is the 'Crown Jewel' of the ABS Diamond Sire Program," said Scott
Bentley, Dairy Product Manager. "His world renowned cow family coupled
with his Longevity, Calving Ease, and Udder Composite, make him perhaps
the #1 bull in the breed today for total customer satisfaction. His
daughters are extremely high in fertility."
This Roebuck son is a Gold Medal Sire out of Regancrest Tesk Della EX-90 GMD DOM and his third dam is the great Snow-N Denises Dellia EX-95-2E GMD DOM. One of his specialties is udders where he is over +2.00 for Fore Udder Attachment, Rear Udder Height, Rear Udder Width, Udder Cleft and Udder Depth, which contribute to his +2.18 Udder Composite (UDC). Between this UDC, his breed-leading Productive Life of +2.8 and Daughter Pregnancy Rate of +2.8, it is no surprise that his daughters are standing the test of time in all environments and putting money in dairy producers’ pockets. DIE-HARD has been a long time favorite for use on heifers with his low 6% Calving Ease.
