Global Leader CONVINCER Dies

WISCONSIN - February 4, 2005 – ABS Global's world renown sire, 29H8343 Wa-Del CONVINCER EX-95 died on Tuesday afternoon. This globally recognized bull achieved the rare milestone of 1 million semen units in September of last year.
CONVINCER has been available since 1995 and has been successfully marketed in every dairy producing country around the world. Key countries benefiting from his genetics and contributing to his impressive daughter total include: Australia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, UK, and the USA. "CONVINCER was the second bull in ABS history to produce 1 millions units of semen," stated Scott Bentley, ABS Global Dairy Products Manager. "Our special thanks go to the entire ABS production crew for his outstanding health and semen availability during his 10 years with ABS. Their superb job with the bull has ensured ample inventory which we anticipate will help him accomplish another milestone in 2005 of 1,000,000 units sold during his lifetime."
CONVINCER is the most famous ABS Diamond Sire with over 34,671 daughters in his proof. He is also an ABS Pregnancy King (semen fertility) and Calving Ease Specialist. During his lifetime, he has sired show winners, high selling individuals and many elite bull mothers with sons now in global A.I. programs. His legacy will now live on at ABS through his sons, as the company will be actively marketing several CONVINCER sons in 2005.
