SWEATT NAMED GENETIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM®(GMS®) COORINATOR

 

DEFOREST, WISCONSIN - November 18, 2004 –Jenny Sweatt has recently joined the ABS Genetic Management System Department as a GMS Coordinator.

"Jenny's customer service skills, dairy background and knowledge of ABS products and services will bring additional depth to the department to help GMS users improve their genetics more efficiently and increase profitability," states Amy Knuth, ABS GMS Manager. "Her enthusiasm to develop her career at ABS within the GMS Department will be an asset to the team in addition to her strong work ethic, personality and organizational skills."

In this new position, Sweatt will be supervising the day-to-day herd processing to improve proper turn around. She will also assist the GMS team with trouble-shooting and technical support as well as work with the field Evaluator program, where she will be training new GMS Evaluators.

Sweatt grew up on a dairy farm in the Waunakee, Wisc. area and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science with an emphasis on Dairy, from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. After she graduated from college, she traveled to Australia as part of the International Agricultural Exchange Program.

She has been employed by ABS since January of this year, as a Customer Service Representative.
