ENGELBERT A.I. SERVICES RECEIVES AWARD AT 2004 REPRESENTATIVE BANQUET
DEFOREST,
WISCONSIN - October 28, 2004 – ABS Independent Representatives Margaret Nachtigall and Anita Pepin received the Representative of the Year Award for District 915 at the 2004 Beef Division Representative Round Table Banquet. Their company, Engelbert A.I. serves beef and dairy producers in western South Dakota.
"Nachtigall and Pepin are very effective and successful Representatives in their area," states District Sales Manager Merlyn Sandbulte. "They attribute this success to their understanding of the reproductive synchronization programs and their use of breeding barns for smooth cattle handling."
These two independent ABS Representatives formed Engelbert A.I. Services in 1996, and since then, their business has continuously grown. Along with use of their breeding barn, Nachtigall and Pepin recommend and use the ABS sires that fit their geographic needs. In addition to their work as ABS Representatives, both women are involved with the progress of the beef industry and their communities, which also contributes to the growth of their A.I. business. For their outstanding efforts, they were awarded the Representative of the Year Award for their district, which is based on a formula including sales units, sales revenue and percent increase in sales.
