FIRST DUNDEE DAUGHTER SCORES EXCELLENT

DEFOREST, WISCONSIN - October 28, 2004 – Eastriver Dundee Darci, owned by Rottinghaus Holsteins, Seneca, Kansas and Jeff Woods, Madison, Wisconsin is the first 94HO10276 DUNDEE daughter in North America to score Excellent. She recently scored EX-91 being Excellent in the Udder and Feet and Legs.

"DUNDEE is perhaps the breed’s most exciting type bull and our highest selling bull domestically," says Scott Bentley, ABS Dairy Product Manager. "He is transmitting high type to his daughters and it is no surprise that his first Excellent daughter was scored EX-91 at Three years and Three months of age."

Like many DUNDEE daughters, Darci has a long show winning record to go along with her Excellent classification score. She was recently the 8th Jr. Three-Year-Old in the 2004 International Holstein Show, was the 1st Place Unfresh Two-Year-Old at the Kansas Spring Show in 2003 and was the 2002 Junior All-American Summer Yearling. Additionally, his summer yearling daughter, Precious Dundee Brandy, owned by Allyn, Yeoman and Keen, Canaan, Conn. placed second in a large class of 36 heifers in the International Holstein Show.

Along with these outstanding daughters in the U.S., DUNDEE has several high scored, show winning daughters in Canada. First of these is Montdale Dundee Rubie who classified VG-89 as a Two-Year-Old in Canada and 1st Two-Year-Old in the Ontario Spring Discovery 2004. This exciting young daughter is owned by Craigcrest Holsteins, Arthur, ON, Canada. Her full twin sister, Montdale Dundee Rubi also owned by Craigcrest Holsteins scored Very Good at 87 as a Two-Year-Old and was the 7th Milking Yearling at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in 2003. Finally, Rodveil Dundee Jena was the 2003 Nominated All-Canadian Intermediate Yearling and is owned by Rodveil Holsteins of St Simon Les Mines, PQ, Canada.

DUNDEE, an Encore out of Snow-N Denises Dellia EX-94, is proving to be one of her most exciting sons. DUNDEE, who recently earned a permanent score of EX-93, ranks high for Final Class in Canada and for Type and Udder Composite in the U.S.
