ABS NAMES NEW GENERAL MANAGER OF CANADA

DEFOREST, WISCONSIN - July 20, 2004 – Darren Fehr has accepted the role of General Manager for ABS Canada.. Fehr is the former Business Development Manager in Latin America and Africa for The Semex Alliance.

"With over ten years of A.I. and dairy business experience ABS anticipates great things from Darren,” said Jady Grad ABS Global Vice President for North America.

Fehr has spent the past four years formulating strategic plans for entire distribution networks to ensure sales growth and appropriate infrastructure development. “Darren has exactly the type of skill set ABS needs in Canada to continue the sales momentum and business foundation established by former Canada General Manager and now ABS Australia General Manager Steve Fried,” said Grad.

In addition to his strong business sense and understanding of the dairy industry, Fehr brings extensive people development capabilities. During his career Fehr was responsible for the establishment and development of sales and service networks both in Canada and internationally.

July 26, 2004, is when Fehr officially starts for ABS. He said, “That I look forward to the challenge of bringing all the assets of the world’s largest breeding company to the forefront of the Canadian A.I. market.”
