FRIED APPOINTED GENERAL MANAGER OF ABS AUSTRALIA

DEFOREST, WISCONSIN – June 1, 2004 – ABS Global has appointed Stephen Fried the General Manager of ABS Australia.

“Appointing Fried as General Manager reflects the increasing importance of our business in this region of the world,” stated Ian Biggs, President and CEO of ABS Global. “This move ensures the continued strengthening of our global management team.”

Fried’s position will be based in the ABS office in Albury, New South Wales, Australia. Fried has a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Guelph and extensive international sales, marketing and business management experience in his past eleven years at ABS. Prior to this position, he served as General Manager of ABS Canada in Elmira, Ontario.

Fried was first exposed to the Australian livestock industry over 15 years ago when he founded and ran Sprucecroft International Inc., a leading supplier of embryos to the developing Australian market. He was also the ABS business manager for this region from 1996 to 2000. .

As General Manager, Fried will be responsible for the strategic positioning of ABS in Australia, in addition to overseeing the sales, administration, and production facilities.
