TATE NAMED INTERN AT ABS GLOBAL FOR SUMMER 2004

DEFOREST, WISCONSIN – May 28, 2004 - Evan Tate has joined ABS as a Sales Intern for the summer of 2004.

“Tate’s strong desire and motivation to be a part of the beef industry makes him a strong candidate for this position,” stated Todd Riggs, District Sales Manager. “We are excited to work with someone that has an understanding and interest in marketing high quality agricultural products and services.”

Currently attending Western Kentucky University, Tate is pursuing a degree in Animal Science. His campus involvements include serving as an officer in the Block and Bridle Club, and being a Little North America participant. Tate also works at L.D. Brown Agricultural Livestock Exposition Center, where he assists in conducting various events, including numerous livestock shows. Prior to college, he was active in the National FFA Organization. Tate has competed at the National level with both his Parliamentary Procedure and Livestock Judging Teams. He also served three FFA officer positions while in high school, including president.

Past agricultural experiences of Tate include working at Larry Butler Auction and Realty Company, as a licensed auctioneer. He also owns and operates his own grooming and fitting business, Evan Tate Cattle Services. In 2003, he was employed at Whitworth Farms, where he helped managed several aspects of the cattle operation. .

As a sales intern, Tate will be providing A.I. sales and services, along with performing market surveys, and representing ABS at various trade shows.
