ABS WELCOMES SUMMER INTERN CHRIS PETERSON

DEFOREST, WISCONSIN – May 28, 2004 - ABS Global welcomes Chris Peterson as a Sales Intern for the summer of 2004.

“Peterson’s genuine passion for the dairy industry and agriculture make him a perfect fit for our sales team here at ABS Global,” said Todd Kronberg, Midwest Division Manager. “We look forward to working with someone like Chris who has a wide variety of dairy experiences.”

Currently attending the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, Peterson is studying Dairy Science, with a minor in Agricultural Business. Peterson has held various leadership roles while in college. His officer positions include serving as Historian and Pledgemaster of Delta Theta Sigma, Block and Bridle Royal Showmanship Contest Dairy Chair, and a member of the 2003-2004 Officer Team of the UW-River Falls Dairy Club. Peterson also was a 4-H & FFA exhibitor at the Minnesota State Fair. He has been successful judging as well, placing 10th overall at the North American International Livestock Exposition.

Peterson joins ABS Global with previous dairy work experiences. He was employed by Peterson’s North Branch Mill, where he was involved in mixing feed rations for livestock and delivering fertilizer to farmers. Peterson also has worked at CC’s Jersey Crème, assisting with the production of yogurt and milking on the Jersey farm..

As a sales intern, Peterson will be providing A.I. sales and services, along with performing market surveys, and representing ABS at various trade shows.
