ABS GLOBAL NAMES BAUER PROGENY PROMOTIONS INTERN

 

DEFOREST, WISCONSIN – May 21, 2004 - Daniel Bauer has been named a Progeny Promotions Intern for ABS Global.

"Bauer's education and wide range of experiences within the dairy industry, make him a strong candidate for this position," said Marci Walker, Progeny Promotions Manager. "His enthusiasm and background will make him a key player on our Progeny Promotions Team."

Currently a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Bauer is majoring in Dairy Science, with an emphasis in Business. He is actively involved in the Badger Dairy Club, where he is serving as Co-Yearbook Editor and a Sale Selection Chairperson for the 12th Badger Invitational. Bauer also was a World Dairy Expo Grounds Chairman in 2003. As a member of Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity, he has been Intra-Fraternity Council Representative and a Recruitment Committee Member. In addition, he also is a part of the University of Wisconsin-Madison Dairy Judging Team.

Bauer joins ABS with an extensive dairy background. He has experience with commercial, index, and show-type herds. He also has many years of experience breeding and marketing his own cattle, along with showing and fitting at several Wisconsin district and state shows. .

As a Progeny Promotions Intern, Bauer will be responsible for identifying and evaluating daughters of ABS Global sires, along with preparing cattle for picturing and tour schedules throughout the U.S.
