ELEVEN ABS PERSONNEL EARNED GMS® EVALUATOR CERTIFICATION

DEFOREST, WISCONSIN – January 6, 2004 – ABS Global, Inc. is pleased to announce eleven members of its current personnel successfully completed the Genetic Management System® (GMS) school offered at ABS.

“This was an exciting group to train in the benefits of GMS because of their diversity,” stated Amy Knuth, GMS Manager. “Each individual will be able to take the skills they learned and apply them to the dairy producer’s herds in their area.”

This was a very global class with eight of the eleven new Consultants attending from international countries. Among these individuals was the first certified Consultant from Japan and seven new Consultants from Canada. With its new GMS Consultant, Japan became the 29th country to be offering the Genetic Management System to dairy producers.

In order to become GMS Consultants, these evaluators worked with current GMS Consultants before coming to DeForest to finalize their classroom exercises.
