COOK NAMED ANIMAL PRODUCTS MARKETING ASSISTANT

DEFOREST, WISCONSIN - August 18, 2003 - Kylene Cook has been named the Animal Products Marketing Assistant for ABS Global.

"Kylene has a tremendous combination of practical dairy experience, dairy management training and diverse marketing experience," says Animal Products Marketing Manager, Heather Jauquet. "Her ability to fluently speak Spanish is a huge asset in this position."

Cook is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Dairy Science and Agricultural Journalism. While on campus Cook was active in the Association of Women in Agriculture, Badger Dairy Club, and served as a Teaching Assistant for the Department of Dairy Science. Off campus, Cook gained experience in a variety of areas through many internships, where she served in positions ranging from the general care of dairy cattle to coordinating World Dairy Expo promotional events. In addition to gaining experience in U.S. dairy market, she also spent time in Costa Rica studying dairy industry practices and Mexico establishing contacts for future UW-Madison exchange students.

In her new position, Cook will assist in product support and training for sales Representatives. She will also help develop promotional materials, marketing programs, tradeshow communications, and web page content.
