SEVEN UDDER IMPROVING BULLS GRADUATE AT ABS

 

DEFOREST, WISCONSIN - August 13, 2003 - Six Holstein and one Jersey bull graduated into the ABS Global active line-up Monday, August 11, 2003.

Debuting at number four on the Canadian LPI List, 29HO9964 Bosside Roma ROMAN-ET*TV graduated into the ABS lineup with an outstanding +1711 TPI. This globally appealing sire with the famous Bosside prefix sires tall, strong, dairy cows with well-attached, high and wide rear udders. In addition, ROMAN sires long life daughters with an impressive +2.5 Productive Life and a low 2.88 Somatic Cell Score. Roman makes the fancy kind being +17 for Conformation in Canada.

Rock Solid sire 29HO9966 Ricecrest KOBE-ET*TV, a Manfred x Luke Lisa, led the ABS new graduates in Milk at +2156. KOBE’s +1.43 Udder Composite and +1.43 Foot and Leg Composite are outstanding indicators of his ability to increase profitable herd life.

ABS greats MATTIE x DUSTER combined to produce graduate 29HO9952 Welcome GOBBLER*TV. A low Calving Ease bull who tightens fore udders and improves rear udders, GOBBLER has an overall Udder Composite of +1.26 and a low 2.89 Somatic Cell Score.

PEP up the type in your herd with Rock Solid 29HO9948 Maryline Formation PEP-ET*TV. This Formation x JUROR is +1.93 PTAT, +1.3 PL and 2.99 SCS, which makes him an instant hit in producer herds. The Jersey graduate at ABS, 29JE3241 Woodstock Montana LELAND, is a MONTANA x Alf Leslie and was bred by Wayne Wood of Oregon. LELAND’s daughters are tall, strong and dairy, with well-attached, high and wide rear udders. He is noted as a components improver.
