MORRIS NAMED A PROGENY PROMOTIONS INTERN FOR ABS GLOBAL

DEFOREST, WISCONSIN - June 30, 2003- Josey Morris is serving as an ABS Global Progeny Promotions Intern for the summer of 2003.

"Josey’s successful judging ability and previous work experiences make her an exciting addition to the ABS Progeny Promotions Team," says Manager of Progeny Promotions, Marci Walker.

A University of Wisconsin - Madison attendee, Morris will be graduating in December with a double major in Dairy Science and Life Science Communications. While attending classes at the UW, Morris serves as a Teaching Assistant, and is a member of the Badger Dairy Club, the Association of Women in Agriculture, and the Ag Business Club. In addition, she was active on the Dairy Cattle Judging Team. Some of Morris’ notable achievements in dairy judging come from the 2002 National Intercollegiate Dairy Cattle Judging Contest where she was a member of the High Overall Team and was the Second High Individual.

Along with her activities on campus, Morris brings a wealth of experience in the artificial insemination industry to her position. Prior to joining ABS for the summer, she has done a series of internships that exposed her to all areas of the industry, from production and processing to marketing and selling of bovine semen. Morris is also still an active part of her family’s cash crop farm located in Watertown, Wisconsin.

As a Progeny Promotions Intern, she will be responsible for ABS dairy progeny inspection and evaluation, prepping ABS dairy progeny for photo shoots and organizing dairy photo shoots. Morris will be performing the majority of her duties in the Midwest and West Coast of the United States.
