AVERHOFF HIRED AS A TECHNICAL SERVICES SPECIALIST FOR ABS

DEFOREST, WISCONSIN - June 25, 2003- K.R. Averhoff was recently hired by ABS Global as a Technical Services Specialist in the Western U.S.

"K.R.'s extensive dairy background will be key to the Technical Services Department as we develop reproductive programs on western dairies in 2003," said Director of Technical Services, Dr. Neil Michael.

Averhoff is a 2003 graduate of Tarleton State University with a degree in Animal Science. In addition to attending classes, Averhoff was involved in the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity and served as a Tarleton Alumni Ambassador. Prior to accepting the Technical Services Specialist position he worked for ABS as a Reproductive Management SystemÒ (RMSÒ) Intern. Averhoff also has considerable dairy experience, which he gained while working on various dairies around Stephenville, Texas.

As a Technical Services Specialist, Averhoff will be responsible for improving communication and monitoring procedures. Specifically, he will conduct handheld training, verify end of month billing, and develop open communication lines with herds. Averhoff will also work on implementing follow-up procedures in prospective herds. He will be based out of Stephenville, Texas and will be serving herds and ABS Representatives in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Idaho.
